Refund and Dispute Policy

At The Laundry Trap, we take pride in providing high-quality laundry and concierge services. Please review our refund and dispute policy carefully before placing an order.

Contact Before Disputes (Required)

Customers must contact The Laundry Trap directly regarding any service issue, concern, or billing question before initiating a chargeback or dispute with their bank or card provider.

Failure to contact us prior to filing a dispute may result in the dispute being contested with supporting documentation, including order forms, service records, and communication history.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be issued under the following circumstances:

Service was not performed due to an error on our part
Items were lost or damaged due to negligence during processing
An overcharge or duplicate charge occurred

Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction related to:

Normal wear and tear
Manufacturer defects
Shrinkage, color bleeding, or fabric damage due to care labels or material limitations
Odor preferences, detergent sensitivity (unless hypoallergenic service was selected)

Claim Timeframe:

All service issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pickup. Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be eligible for review.

Chargebacks and Disputes:

Customers who initiate a chargeback without first contacting The Laundry Trap will be subject to:

Immediate suspension of services
Permanent account termination
Submission of dispute evidence to the card issuer

We reserve the right to recover any fees incurred as a result of improper disputes.

Resolution Process:

Once contacted, we will review the concern and may offer one of the following at our discretion:

Partial refund
Service credit
Re-cleaning or corrective service

All decisions are final.

The Laundry Trap reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of this policy.
